Well, here's some hope for anyone who has ever penned a script only to see it get lost adrift the piles of screenplays in Hollywood. Nearly a decade ago, word first surfaced that George Clooney would take the helm of "Suburbicon," a screenplay penned by the Coens that they had originally planned to direct, with the actor slated to star. "They offered me a part in 'Suburbicon' a long time ago, and since then decided they have other projects they want to work on,” Clooney said in 2005. "So I called them up and said 'How about me taking a spin at it?' Because it's a really interesting, really funny, very dark comedy." Well, the project lives, ten years on.
