Government discusses demographic situation

According to the governmental press service, the draft 2015-2017 Demographic Situation Improvement National Project was presented based on the Armenian government 2014 program.

It was stressed that the aim of the program is to create perspectives for sustainable demographic development due to comprehensive assessments and targeted measures. The meeting also focused on both current and future measures as well as their areas, expected results and volume of allocated funds.

Summing up the discussion, Hovik Abrahamyan assigned to amend the draft with the proposals and present the finalized version to the government.
