Government discussing ways to improve demographic situation in Armenia
YEREVAN, October 20. /ARKA/. A session presided by the Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan was convened Tuesday to discuss the current demographic situation and development trends, the press office of the Armenian government reports.
The draft national program of improvement the country’s demographic situation in 2015-2017 was presented at the session.
It became known at the aim of the program is to create favorable environment for stable demographic development.
Current things were discussed and steps to be taken to improve the situation were discussed at the session. Financing amount and expected results were discussed as well.
The premier instructed the authors of the project to polish up the document and to submit the final version to the government. ---0----
