Should we fear The Blob? How warm mass of Pacific water could threaten B.C.’s marine ecosystem and climate

The nickname for a mass of warm water that’s been sitting off the west coast of North America for two years may sound like something out of a sci-fi movie, but “The Blob” is very real for the people of this northern B.C. archipelago who make their living off the sea.
