‘Financial literacy’ contest to be held in Yerevan

YEREVAN, October 14. / ARKA /. A financial literacy contest of youth projects will be held in Yerevan as part of the first Armenian-Russian youth economic forum, the Russian-Armenian Youth Alliance, a co-organizer of the event said today.

Rafael Poghosyan, the vice-chairman of the Alliance, said the contest is designed as a form of  support to creative young people who want to assist to the sustainable future of Eurasia.

The contest is open to students of all forms of education, undergraduate and post-graduate students and young scientists and professionals up to 35 years.

The projects are to be submitted to the contest in the following nominations: "The best achievements in the dissemination of financial literacy among the population within a region." The selection of research projects will take place in two stages.

All participants will be awarded certificates. The winners will have the opportunity to participate in the Eurasian Economic Forum in Yekaterinburg, Russia, in April 2016 ass well as in the 5th World Economic Forum in the framework of the 8th Astana Forum in Kazakhstan.

The deadline for submission is before October 23, 2015. The decision on the final selection round will be made no later than October 26. The first youth economic forum "Russia and Armenia: New Drivers of Integration’ as part of the 6th Armenian-Russian interregional forum "Russia. Armenia. Eurasian Economic Union. New Prospects for Interregional Cooperation" will be held November 1-3 Armenia’s capital city Yerevan. -0-
