The gymnasts goal in the World Championships is to get to the Olympics-2016

Artur Davtyan, Harutyun Merdinyan and Vahagn Davtyan will participate in the Championship.

In the interview with Mediamax Sport, the head coach of the Armenian national team Hakob Serobyan said that Artur Davtyan is the closest to get to the Olympics-2016.

“Arthur always has high places in all-around gymnastics and can have good results in Glasgow. 25 athletes will qualify for Olympic Games in Rio in this category: even if Arthur shows his average capacity, he will qualify”, mentioned Serobyan.

Only the medalists of individual will get the opportunity to get to the Olympics.

“Harutyun and Vahagn will do everything to be in the best 3. The guys are really ready, although it would be a tough competition”, he added.

The Championship will take place on October 23-November 1.
