Azerbaijan again breaches ceasefire

YEREVAN, September 23. /ARKA/. Armenian Defense Ministry said Armenian positions were shelled today by Azerbaijani troops.

It said the shelling occured at around 07:40, when Azerbaijani units again violated the ceasefire regime, opening fire from small arms of various caliber in the direction of Armenian combat positions located in the eastern direction of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

'The enemy's fire was repulsed. There were no losses on the Armenian side," the press secretary of the Defense Ministry said.

Earlier, the chair of the National Assembly's Committee on Human Rights Protection and Public Relations Taguhi Tovmasyan reported an exchange of fire between Azerbaijani and Armenian troops in Gegharkunik province.-0- -0-
