New engineering campus to be built in Yerevan suburb
YEREVAN, October 12. / ARKA /. Construction of an engineering campus in a Yerevan suburb Jrvezh will take from 12 to 18 months, Bagrat Yengibaryan, the director of the Enterprise Incubator Foundation, said to reporters on the fringes of ArmTech 2015 congress that kicked off today in the Armenian capital city.
The idea to build an engineering campus in a Yerevan suburb emerged during the previous ArmTech congress that took place in 2014 autumn in New York, USA.
According to Yengibaryan, the government is expected to make the final decision on the share of its involvement in this project before the end of the year.
He said soon a tender will be announced for the layout of the engineering campus. He added that the construction of the campus will take from 12 to 18 months.
According to him, Armenian and foreign companies may rent offices in the engineering campus to develop and market their products and services. -0-
