YEREVAN, September 19. /ARKA/. Azerbaijani users of the social networking service Telegram used chatbots to create stickers from photos of the bodies of Armenian soldiers and civilians who were tortured and dismembered, former Armenian human rights defender Arman Tatoyan said.

"These stickers were created on September 14, 2022; we discovered them on September 18. Then these stickers were uploaded to Telegram so that users could download and use them when during communicating," he wrote in a Facebook posting.

Tatoyan said that his team found 119 stickers, which were downloaded more than 20,000 times in 5 days by Azerbaijani users.

"Our specialists have blocked the possibility of downloading these stickers, but it is obvious that Azerbaijani pages will use this new tool to terrorize and cause suffering to the Armenian society," he explained.

According to Tatoyan, the stickers use photos of atrocities that took place in the 44-day war in Nagorno-Karabakh in 2020 and in September 13-14 Azerbaijani aggression against Armenia's sovereignty.

"Our study shows that Azerbaijani users, who downloaded these photos, took great pleasure in viewing the pictures of torture and dismemberment of Armenian soldiers and civilians, using them in their communication. This criminal act is one more proof that the policy of hatred against Armenians, supported by the Azerbaijani authorities for decades, is deeply rooted in the Azerbaijani society, and the calls for peace by the Azerbaijani authorities are just false and designed to mislead the international community, hiding their real intentions," Tatoyan said.-0-
