Pashinyan says Armenian-Russian forum will contribute to expanding bilateral cooperation

YEREVAN, Sept. 19. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received today Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk.

Pashinyan noted that despite the difficult situation created by the aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan against the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia, Armenian government decided not to postpone the working events of the IX Armenian-Russian Interregional Forum in Yerevan, planned for today, taking into account their importance from the perspective of the development of Armenian-Russian relations.

He said also that the interregional cooperation between Armenia and Russia plays an important role in the development of the allied strategic partnership between our countries, contributing to the further expansion of the potential of bilateral cooperation.

Overchuk is leading a Russian delegation that has arrived in Armenia to participate in the IX Armenian-Russian Interregional Forum in Yerevan. -0-
