Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan is happy for Liverpool over the appointment of Jurgen Klopp.

Klopp could steal a march on them in the race for Gundogan because of his previous connections with the Germany international, having managed him at Dortmund.

The 24-year-old has fuelled talk of a move to Anfield by voicing his happiness at Klopp's appointment on Merseyside.
