Three civilians wounded by Azerbaijani shelling of Armenian civilian infrastructure
YEREVAN, Sept. 13. /ARKA/. Three civilians have been wounded as a result of the shelling of Armenian villages by Azerbaijani military units today, the Armenian Ministry of Health said.
It said the condition of one of them is serious; the other two are in satisfactory condition.
Meanwhile, Armenia’s Investigative Committee released photos of civilian infrastructure damaged by Azerbaijani armed forces' aggression against the sovereign territory of Armenia in the early hours of September 13.
Particularly, settlements in Syunik and Gegharkunik regions -Sotq, Vardenis, Goris, Kapan, Artanish and Ishkhanasar and an ambulance with the appropriate emblem on Kapan-Chakaten road were targeted by Azerbaijan.
"Azerbaijani armed forces, in blatant violation of the Geneva Convention of 1949, as well as the requirements of the First Additional Protocol, attacked civilian objects deep in the rear and the civilian population not directly involved in the military operations using mortar and artillery means, UAVs," the Investigative Committee said.
It said criminal proceedings were initiated on the act of aggression by military and political leadership of Azerbaijan against the sovereign territory of Armenia under two articles of the Criminal Code of Armenia--0--
