Chemicals giant INEOS snaps up 12 North Sea gas fields in deal worth a reported £500m

The group, founded by billionaire Jim Ratcliffe, is to buy the fields – which produce 8 per cent of Britain’s total gas output – from LetterOne Group, chaired by Ukrainian oligarch Mikhail Fridman.
