YEREVAN, September 6. /ARKA/. Large enterprises from Armenia, India, UAE and Azerbaijan have placed their demand for Russian-manufactured products on the SME.RF service along with 29 other foreign companies, Russian business daily Vedomosti says.

According to it, foreign customers have requested for as many as 282 types of products. The service allows Russia-based small and medium sized enterprises to enter new markets, while foreign companies can find proven suppliers from all regions of Russia. Earlier Belarusian industrial giants placed their demand on the platform.

The demand of foreign companies varies. For example, Armenian companies seek suppliers of such consumer goods as oat flakes, condensed milk, buckwheat. Indian companies seek industrial components such as hydraulic cylinders and power units, and Azerbaijan and the UAE are interested in construction materials - boards, planks, timber.

"It took us just a month in April to launch the service on our platform SME.RF, which finds new markets and suppliers, including replacing those who left Russia. So, the demand of large companies, retailers has been digitized. They are looking for suppliers for 11 thousand items, and we help them. In addition, 19 foreign companies from Belarus, Armenia, Azerbaijan, India, and the UAE joined our service. We have also had our first success. A Russian company has already signed an NDA with an Armenian company to supply 4 million bottles per year. And three companies were audited and became potential suppliers for Belarusian industrial giants. Five more companies are on the way," said Alexander Isayevich, General Director of SME Corporation. --0--
