Model boss: Wife made porn discovery

The ex-wife of rape accused model boss Dawie de Villiers found explicit pics of one of his alleged victims, a court heard.

Johannesburg - The ex-wife of Dawie de Villiers discovered explicit photographs of one of his alleged victims in 2009, the High Court sitting in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court heard during model agency boss’s child pornography trial on Thursday.

The relationship between two ended in 2009, the same year she discovered the photographs on his computer. They have two children.

“I found them in March 2009. Some of the photos showed the female half naked, some were very explicit, and there were some where she was completely naked,” she told the court.

Prosecutor Arveena Persad asked what she did after discovering the photographs. The mother of two said she forwarded them to the female after noticing her name labelled onto the photographs.

“I found her email address and forwarded them to her … I wanted to find out what was going on.”

A closer look at the photographs revealed that they were taken in her bedroom, on her marital bed, she said.

According to the State, the female, was allegedly sexually assaulted by De Villiers when he pushed himself against her naked body in January 2009 in Bryanston. She was aged 21 at the time. The State further alleged De Villiers forced the female to remove her clothes and then took nude photographs of her. He allegedly later threatened to kill her.

The ex-wife said she received a response from the female, who told her she was forced by De Villiers to pose for photographs.

“She said Dawie was very forceful, and that he had pushed himself onto her naked body. She said she did not want to have the photographs taken and that she felt embarrassed that I discovered them.”

She told the court that she proceeded to ask De Villiers about the photographs. De Villiers was upset and denied everything the female said, and then threatened to kill her.

She read out De Villers’ response to her inquiry, which was contained in an email.

“I am not going to listen to lies from such a s**t and w***e … she says I forced her to pose like that? Wow … I will murder that s**t believe me.”

The State alleged that De Villiers, owner of Model South Africa PTY (Ltd) committed various acts of sexual assault including rape, exposing two children to pornography, accessing and possession of child pornography, sexual grooming, crimen injuria and fraud between 2011 and 2013.

He is facing total of 38 charges.

Most of the incidents allegedly took place in Kempton Park.

The trial continues.
