Russian train tickets can be bought in Yerevan
YEREVAN, October 6. / ARKA /. Tickets for Russian trains can be purchased in Yerevan as well, the press service of the South-Caucasus Railway said.
The service was made possible thanks to an agreement signed by the South Caucasus Railway and the Russian Federal Passenger Company to connect the South Caucasus Railways to Russian train tickets selling service Express.
Now everyone in Armenia can buy a ticket for a Russian train to travel within the Russian Federation. Tickets can be bought at Yerevan railway station.
South Caucasus Railways is a 100% subsidiary of state-run Russian Railways that was awarded a concesional management of SCR. The 30 year contract was signed in 2008. It can be prolonged for another 10 years. -0-
