Players push Barcelona board not to give up on Turan registration

Barcelona players are urging the board to register Arda Turan during international week.

Barca are attempting to have the Turk registered as an emergency replacement for injured midfielder Rafinha.

Sport says Barca players believe Turan is the ideal replacement, having been impressed by the former Atletico Madrid star in training.

FIFA are reluctant to allow Barca to select Turan after he was signed in the summer during their transfer ban.

However, Barca players are pushing directors not to give up the case and hope they can overturn FIFA's decision in the next week.
