California to become fifth state to allow terminally ill patients to legally end their lives

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - California will become the fifth U.S. state to allow terminally ill patients to legally end their lives using doctor-prescribed drugs after Gov. Jerry Brown announced Monday he had signed the legislation.
