Pashinyan says instability in CSTO zone of responsibility regrettable
YEREVAN, June 10. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received today foreign ministers of CSTO member states who had arrived in Yerevan to attend a meeting of CSTO Foreign Ministers Council.
Pashinyan said this year marks the 20th anniversary of CSTO and stressed with satisfaction the restoration of traditional dynamics after the coronavirus pandemic.
Pashinyan said also that the anniversary is a good occasion to analyze what has been done, to emphasize the achievements and to talk about how to eliminate the shortcomings.
"CSTO is one of the most important factors in ensuring security of all our countries, and I regret to note that the situation in the area of responsibility of our organization is not very stable. In this context we should closely cooperate, exchange information, assessments of the situation in order to make use of those mechanisms which are designed to prevent and manage crisis situations at the necessary moment," the Armenian Prime Minister underscored. -0-
