Japan Sympathizes With Refugees but Does Not Intend to Take Them

In 2015, Japan plans to allocate 810 million dollars (97.2 billion yen) to help refugees from the Middle East, particularly in Syria and Iraq. The funds will be directed not only to European countries but also to Lebanon, which took about one million refugees from Syria.
