Youri Djorkaeff arrives in Armenia

“I was invited by the great champion, Robert Emmiyants, to take part in the Yerevan half-marathon and I couldn’t turn it down. I want to make Armenians, marathon participants and Emmiyants happy with my presence”, said Djorkaeff.

The famous football player has confessed that he is always warmly greeted in Armenia and he loves to be there. “I have come her specially to take part in the half-marathon. I will stay 4 days and leave immediately. The first thing I want to do in Armenia is to taste barbeque”.

On October 2, Djorkaeff will take part in the charity football match between ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank and Armenian journalists’ football teams within the bank’s team.

The whole profit from the game will be allocated to purchase of sports outfits for the school of border Khachik village and Gavar orphanage.
