French inspectors get acquainted with situation on the border

Within the inspection, the group has visited military units of the 3rd army corps expressing the will to visit Berdavan village of Tavush marz which saw 2 killed civilians and 2 more with shrapnel wounds as a result of Azerbaijan’s shelling on September 24, the Armenian Defense Ministry press service reports.

The inspectors visited the families of the killed, talked to them and took photos of the fragments of mines of TR-107 rocket engine.

The experts have today visited Armenian Defense Ministry’s Baghramyan training ground, where CSTO Collective Peacekeeping Forces’ “Indestructible Brotherhood-2015” exercise is being carried out.

Afterwards, First Deputy Defense Minister of Armenia Davit Tonoyan met with French Ambassador Jean-Francoise Charpentier and Deputy Ambassador Nicolas Fai to discuss the situation in northeastern sector of Armenia-Azerbaijan state border and contact line of NKR and Azerbaijan troops.
