Yerevan -Tbilisi trains resume traveling October 2

YEREVAN, October 1. / ARKA /. Passenger trains traveling between Yerevan and Georgia’s capital Tbilisi will resume operation from October 2, the South-Caucasian Railway, operating Armenia’s railroads, said today.

"Trains from Yerevan to Tbilisi will set out  on even days of the month at 21:30. From Tbilisi they will depart  on odd days of the month at 20:20,’ the company said in a press release.

It said travel time is 10 hours and 20 minutes. Ticket prices range from 9,470 drams to 20,010 drams, depending on compartment type. 

The South Caucasus Railways is run by Russian Railways. The concessional agreement was concluded in 2008 for 30 years, with a right of extension for another 20 years after the first 20 years of operation. -0- ($ 1 - 473.71 drams). -0-
