Guillermo Del Toro Says He's Making A Small, Independent Movie Next; 'Pacific Rim 2' Still In Development
"Crimson Peak" is coming! Guillermo del Toro's new film screened over the weekend at Fantastic Fest, but rather remarkably, the embargo on full reviews has held. But tweets and assorted chatter among those in attendance has been quite positive, and surely it's only a matter of time until the levee holding back the full register of reactions breaks. Until then, we'll just have to focus on what del Toro has coming up next — evidently, he's going indie.

A lengthy profile in Variety says the director has revealed that he'll next get behind the camera for "a small, independently financed movie that he is keeping under tight wraps."
