SA’s Q2 employment barely changed

Statistics SA reveals the latest employment figures for South Africa.

Johannesburg - Employment in South Africa's non-agriculture sector was barely changed at 8.944 million people in the second quarter of the year compared with the previous three months, Statistics South Africa said on Tuesday.

The number of people with jobs in Q2, however, was down 1.8 percent when compared to the same period in 2014, the agency said.
