Liverpool revive bid for Man Utd outcast Victor Valdes

Liverpool are reviving interest in Manchester United goalkeeper Victor Valdes.

The Sun on Sunday says Valdes is a target for Liverpool.

The Spaniard's career is in limbo having made just two appearances for Louis van Gaal's side, and the 33-year-old is third in the pecking order behind David De Gea and Sergio Romero.

Valdes spent time training with Liverpool last season before signing for United.

The former Barcelona No1 is available after falling out with Van Gaal in preseason.
