Former pastor gets year in jail for sexual exploitation of youth

A former B.C. pastor has been sentenced to one year in jail and two years’ probation after it was found he had sexually touched a young girl more than 25 years ago. The pastor, identified only as J.K. in a court decision issued this month following a hearing in Vanderhoof, was 29 years old at the time the incidents began in 1989.
