We kind of thought the fall film schedule was pretty filled up, especially from Sony Pictures Classics who already have a rich slate coming, but last month the studio reminded us there was yet another Cate Blanchett film on the way. Based on the "Rathergate" scandal of 2010 — venerable CBS news anchor Dan Rather stepping down from his post after an erroneous report ruined his career — "Truth" is an upcoming drama starring Blanchett and Robert Redford that is the directorial debut of James Vanderbilt, the writer behind "Zodiac," both "Amazing Spider-Man" films and “White House Down” among many others. The movie also co-stars Topher Grace, Elisabeth Moss, and Dennis Quaid. Here's the official synopsis:
