Green Path organizes festival of rural life in Yerevan
YEREVAN, September 23. / ARKA /. The Green Path non-governmental organization said today it is organizing September 26 a festival of rural life and traditions.
The festival will feature groups of farmers, who are beneficiaries of various international organizations, agricultural entrepreneurs, as well as women's groups from the regions of Armenia and Georgia.
The festival will host an exhibition and sale of a wide range of agricultural products, it said in a statement.The festival will present Armenian culture, various games, songs and dances, famous singers and musical groups. Participants will receive a variety of gifts, cash rewards and other prizes.
The event will be attended by agriculture minister Sergo Karapetyan, Yerevan mayor Taron Margaryan, coordinator of External Cooperation of the EU Delegation to Armenia John Barker, head of Green Path Nune Sarukhanyan, representatives of diplomatic missions. -0-
