Election debate involving seniors issues hits personal note for B.C. candidate
A debate over seniors’ issues in the federal election took on a deeply personal tone during questions about doctor-assisted death at a public forum in Surrey on Tuesday. The BC Care Providers Association, a non-profit society representing assisted living and long-term care homes, invited representatives of all federal parties to discuss the issues in front of about 150 people at a seniors’ residence in Surrey called The Oasis at Elim Village.
