Ariel Winter Stuns, Kisses Boyfriend on Emmys 2015 Red Carpet After Breast Reduction Surgery: Photos

Young lady in red! After getting breast reduction surgery this past summer, a confident and bold Ariel Winter looked gorgeous in an eye-popping gown on the red carpet of the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards at the Microsoft Theater on Sunday, Sept. 20. The Modern Family star also showed some PDA at the star-studded event, adorably kissing her boyfriend, Laurent Claude Gaudette, before the show.

Winter, 17, worked the red carpet in a strapless, floor length, red silk crepe number by Romona Keveza.

The ABC actress revealed in the September 2015 issue of Glamour that she underwent breast reduction surgery, going from a 32F to a 34D. Winter also revealed in the same interview that she was previously bullied by fans for her voluptuous physique.

“It really did happen overnight,” she said of developing at a young age. “I was 15 years old with [size] F [breasts]. It’s like, ‘how do you navigate that?’”

After getting surgery, Winter said she was excited about picking a different dress for her new body type at the Emmys. "[It] will be my first [public] appearance, but I don't know. I'm just excited to try on all the dresses!" Winter told the mag. "Now I can wear all styles of dresses and all styles of things! I don't always have to pick the tightest, most formfitting dress I can find." (She also attended Disney's D23 Expo last month.)

The actress teased, however, that it would be special. "[Now,] I can pick something [other than a fitted dress] and still feel good about myself," she shared. "I couldn't do that before. I'm excited to finally actually feel confident and not just appear confident."

She added to the mag that her choice to get surgery was her own. "I got it for myself,” she said. “I can’t even really put it into words about how amazing it feels to really feel right."

Winter and Gaudette, meanwhile, have been dating for two years.
