Man surrenders to Vancouver police after hours-long standoff; two people seriously injured

Two counts of attempted murder are being recommended against a man following an hours-long standoff in east Vancouver on Friday. Around 10 a.m., Vancouver Police received a report of a man covered in blood walking down an alley near East 43rd Avenue and Sophia Street.
