North West police have asked the public to help locate an eight-year-old girl who went missing from her school in Rustenburg.

Rustenburg – North West police have asked the public to help locate an eight-year-old girl missing in Rustenburg.

Sergeant Kelebogile Moleko said on Friday Lakisha Kgodane’s parents reported her missing on Thursday at the Tlhabane police station.

“It is alleged that the driver went to fetch the child after school [as usual] but she could not be found. The school was then contacted by the parents but the child was not at school,” Moleko said.

At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a blue and yellow school uniform. Anyone who has information that could assist the police in locating her is requested to call Tlhabane police on 014-565-9154.
