Watch: Vin Diesel Goes Beyond Evil In New Trailer For 'The Last Witch Hunter'

Vin Diesel is trading in the tank top jeans, and nitrous oxide for a scraggly beard, a sword and monsters for "The Last Witch Hunter." The anchor of the "Fast & Furious" series is hoping to extend his brand to another genre with the upcoming supernatural action flick, and this new trailer delivers some serious spectacle.

Elijah Wood, Michael Caine and Rose Leslie are part of the pit crew for this flick, which follows an immortal witch hunter who continues his trade in modern world. It looks like any other random CGI-fest, with Diesel projecting lots of gravitas as he warns everyone about the possible end of the world. Shrug.

"The Last Witch Hunter" opens on October 23rd. Watch below.
