Shelley Fralic: Stop the rescue operation, parents — time to grow up
It was just an ordinary Tuesday. Got up, took the cat to get snipped, had coffee, read the papers, tuned into CKNW for a little talk show chat, checked the emails, perused favourite websites, which may or may not include TMZ.com and, of course, logged on to Facebook to see how the friends were coping. Was hoping, too, that somewhere in that daily avalanche of early morning communication and information overload there might be the germ of a column, it being but a few days since that extended summer vacation ended and, truth be told, the brain and its attendant work ethic somehow missed the memo.
