IIO probes death of Penticton boy, 5, struck by Mountie’s pickup truck

PENTICTON — Grief counsellors were at a Penticton school Wednesday to help students cope with the loss of a five-year-old classmate who was struck and killed Tuesday by a pickup truck driven by an off-duty police officer. Holy Cross School identified the victim as Grade 1 student James Christian McIntosh.
