Farnworth slams B.C. gov’t on public safety after latest Surrey shooting

Justice critic Mike Farnworth says more leadership is needed on public safety after a Surrey school was sprayed with bullets this week in yet another eruption of gun violence in B.C.’s fastest-growing city. Tuesday evening’s shooting near the grounds of Strawberry Hill Elementary in the 7600-block 124th Street was the third time in four days that bullets ripped through Surrey, and Farnworth said more needs to be done.
