Elton John Says Putin Called Him, Kremlin Denies The Claim

British superstar musician Elton John, who is openly gay and has criticized controversial Russian laws on homosexuality, says Vladimir Putin called him and proposed a face-to-face meeting -- a claim the Kremlin has denied.
