Nicole Kidman Reunites With Jane Campion For Season Two Of ‘Top Of The Lake’
Our favorite TV series of the 2012/2013 season, Jane Campion’s “Top Of The Lake” was just an absolute treat from beginning to end. Taking the mystery/crime genre and embellishing it with texture, spectacular performances from Elisabeth Moss and Peter Mullan (among others), gorgeous photography and great direction both from the “Piano” helmer and Garth Davis, it’s one of the absolute must-sees of the golden age of television.
The show did well enough both at home and abroad that Campion’s been working on a second series, and it now emerges that some serious A-list talent will be coming along, as in an interview with the Daily Mail’s Baz Bamigboye promoting her appearance on stage in London in “Photograph 51,” Nicole Kidman has revealed that she’ll be joining the next run of the series.
