Russia Plays 'IS Threat' Card To Rehabilitate Assad's Feared 'Shabiha'

Russian-Syrian citizen Michel Mizakh went to Syria to fight Islamic State (IS) militants. But he didn't join the Kurds or an opposition group. He joined the "Shabiha," the pro-government militia the opposition blames for some of the worst atrocities of Syria's civil war.
