Food prices on the up again but shoppers benefit from heavy discounting by fashion stores

Shop prices fell 1.4 per cent last month, unchanged from July, with clothing stores recording the biggest fall of 5.4 per cent, the latest BRC-Nielsen Shop Price Index showed.
