“Blue” bear spotted in Mission not a worry for conservation officers

A black bear with a blue head was spotted earlier this month near Silvermere Lake in Mission. Photographer Aaron Smith spotted the bear and its cub near while driving home from work and posted a photo of the unlucky animal Sept. 2 to Reddit, where it was brought to the attention of the B.C. Conservation Officer Service.
