University students from Armenia’s border communities to enjoy tuition fee discount
YEREVAN, September 8. /ARKA/. First and second-year university students from Armenia's 31 border communities will have a ten-percent tuition fee discount, Armen Ashotyan, Armenia's education minister, said Tuesday at a news conference.
«The students, whose total number is 140, will enjoy not only this 10-percent discount, but also a flexible scheme for payment,» he said. «Well-performing second-year students will be rewarded with a 20-percent discount.»
Only those students who have graduated from secondary schools exactly in villages located in border areas are eligible to have these preferences. ---0----
