Northern Ireland try again for Crystal Palace striker Connor Wickham

Northern Ireland coach Michael O'Neill is chasing Crystal Palace striker Connor Wickham.

Wickham has 17 England Under 21 caps but is eligible to play for the Irish through his father Stefan, an army warrant officer.

The Daily Mail says O'Neill has written again to Wickham in a bid to get the Crystal Palace striker to line up for his side.

O'Neill knows his team are a more attractive proposition if they qualify for Euro 2016.
