Firefighters probe cause of Pitt Meadows townhouse blaze

It all happened so fast. One minute, Shannon Wilson was putting away the groceries. The next, she was outside taking an iPhone video of a massive fire breaking out in her neighbour’s carport. By the time firefighters arrived, an entire block of the co-op where she lives was engulfed in flames. “My son came in the house and said ‘There is a fire, mommy,’” Wilson recounted Monday. “At first I thought he was making it up. I saw a truck on fire in the (neighbour’s) carport. Then within minutes, minutes, it spread.”
