Group homes need review after 17-year-old charged with murder, says homicide investigator

A senior homicide detective is calling for a close look into Edmonton group homes after a 17-year-old girl living in a local group home was charged with second-degree murder of Shawn Richard, a known drug-dealer who was stabbed in the middle of the night.
