Armenia’s agriculture output grows 14.8% to AMD 328.4 billion in Jan-July
YEREVAN, September 4. /ARKA/. Agriculture output in Armenia in Jan-July 2015 amounted to AMD 328.4 billion in current prices showing a 14.8% year-on-year growth, the National Statistical Service of Armenia.
The aggregate output of agriculture and fishery grew 15.4% in Jan-July 2015, compared with the same period a year before, to about AMD 343.9 billion.
The cattle breeding segment of the country's agriculture accounted for output amounting to AMD 182.9 billion and a 4.2% year-on-year growth, plant-growing industry for AMD 145.4 billion and 28.6% respectively and fishery for about AMD 15.5 billion and 29.3%.
In May, fishing and fish-breeding segments released 654.5 tons of products (25.6% year-on-year growth) and the entire output was sold. ($1 – AMD 485.49). ---0---
