Arpine Hovhannisyan appointed as new justice minister
YEREVAN, September 4. / ARKA /. A parliament member, Arpine Hovhannisyan from the ruling Republican Party of Armenia, was appointed today as justice minister.
A corresponding decree was signed by president Serzh Sargsyan. Ms. Hovhannisyan’s candidacy was backed yesterday by the executive body of the party.
Arpine Hovhanesyan was born in 1983 in Yerevan. She is a graduate of the Law Faculty of Yerevan State University. She had also a master's and post-graduate studies at the same faculty. She has a PhD degree and works also as a lecturer at the Department of Civil Law of Yerevan State University.
She was elected to parliament in 2012 elections on the party list of the Republican Party of Armenia. She is replacing former minister Hovhannes Manukyan who was dismissed on July 14. -- 0-
