Permanent rainbows could be coming to an Edmonton crosswalk near you

The city is considering permanent locations for rainbow crosswalks after six temporary multi-coloured crossings were installed this summer at three different intersections in Old Strathcona. “We are proud to see how much support these rainbow crosswalks have garnered not just from Edmontonians, but from people across the country,” Marco Melfi, planner with CITYlab, said in a written statement Tuesday.
