After epic literal turns at last year's SAGs, Academy Awards, and Met Gala, Nyong'o, 32, arrived at the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday, May 13, spinning her little heart out in an emerald Gucci dress embellished with pleats and rhinestones on each shoulder.

Turns out, the Mexican-Kenyan beauty has sparked a trend. It seems as though all the celebs—especially models such as Kendall Jenner, because it takes a true pro!—are whirling around Cannes in their lovely gowns, putting the standard hand-on-the-hip pose to shame.

So nice, she did it twice! First, the reality star spun in a sheer Alaia confection at the Youth premiere on May 20…
And then she did it again in her eggplant Calvin Klein Collection gown at the annual amfAR Gala on May 21.

Also working it at the Youth premiere, Nemcova let her chiffon fly free in a romantic Zuhair Murad gown.

Sampaio (recently crowned one of the new Victoria's Secret Angels) made Us dizzy (in a good way!) while ruffling her ultra-sexy black dress with a diamond cutout at the bodice at the Inside Out premiere on May 18.
Less of a legit twirl and more of a lift and sway, but damn, did the Aussie (in a raspberry-hued Emanuel Ungaro dress) make it look good at the Magnum Pink and Black Party on May 14.
